January: Management companies prepare and send out their Final Statements for the tax year including form 1042-S showing your rental income. These should be sent to us immediately upon receipt.

February: Tax questionnaire sent out by Howell International Tax to all clients. US lenders start to mail out Mortgage Interest Statements (Form 1098). Please include a copy with your completed questionnaire.

March: Tangible Personal Property Tax Returns are mailed out by the Florida counties. If you receive the return sign send the return to us for completion on your behalf. 15th March is deadline date for Foreign Corporate 1120F tax returns – or 15th June if books and records are kept outside of the US. However, an extension to 15th September can be filed before 15th June.

April: Howell International Tax Questionnaire to be completed and returned along with copies of any supporting paperwork.

15^th April 15th is deadline date for filing Partnership 1065 tax returns or 15th June if books and records are kept outside of the US . However, an extension to 15th September can be filed before 15th June

May: LLC and LLP Annual reports to the department of are late if filed after 1^st May

June: 15^th June is deadline for filing all non-resident 1040NR tax returns

July/August:

Gathering of papers and questionnaires from clients who are running late – vacation in your Florida home and come in for Coffee to chat through any issues!

September:

Filing of extended 1065 and 1120-F company tax returns. Preparation of 1040NR tax returns for those clients filing using the 15th October final extension deadline

October: 15^th Filing, by 15th October latest of the “extended” 1040NR personal tax returns.

November: Property Tax “TRIM” notices and Intangible notices issued around 1^st November

December: Federal Tax year ends 31^st December for gathering Rental Income and Expense for that calendar year
